OK, so there's been quite a lot of recolouring of 'old classics' going on, some of which has just been truly appalling. These however are quite the opposite. Nostalgia reigns supreme in this awesome idea. So, there's a new kind of iPad/Smartphone stand called the PadPivot. As accessories go, it looks pretty good and could actually be quite useful. At about £20, not too expensive either. Its Fitness February (so Steve says). This involves most of RARE trying to get fit for events of the spring/summer. One of my favourite artists today is Faile. Always loved and always will love their paste up style... wheat pasting, stenciling and creating environments that are easy on the eye, like the piece below from their Bedtime Stories exhibition. One of their pieces from last year (collaborating with Bast), fused the 80s Arcade nostalgia with wheat pasted walls and arcade machines to create a sweet space to explore.
